Launching: School Exclusion Support Groups

Following our conference in Jan 2024, we were aware of the need for support groups for parents of young people experiencing challenges around inclusion at school. Hackney REP partners The Charlie Burns Foundation and Beta Minds CIC are launching their support sessions thanks to support from Allen and Overy Foundation.

Have you encountered... 

• Challenging and negative school experiences?
• Unreasonable behaviour sanctions? 
• Internal/external exclusions?

Hackney REP will provide a safe space for you to: 

• Share experiences
• Support each other
• Receive specialist advice & guidance

Groups for parents will be a drop in session every term time Thursday running 16th May - 18th July 2024. In future, we will offer more support groups for young people and teachers with exclusion experiences.
